M.A.S.K Kenner Checklist

Welcome to The Toy Scavenger List for M.A.S.K Action Figures and Vehicles. M.A.S.K was a toy line produced by Kenner based on the TV series of the same name. The Toy line ran from 1985 to 1988 before production was stopped. The toys have amassed a large cult following and were regarded as one of the best ranges from the 80s. The Toy line lasted longer than the television series. In total there were 5 series of the released figures and what makes MASK different from other American toy lines is that every figure and vehicle was released in Europe, But with this the packaging was usually change into a 'less violent' alternative for the European market, along with some vehicle names such as Bulldog changing to Bulldoze. Some artwork was slightly different showing the weapons reversed and not firing, Once sales started to dry up in North America, Europe received 4 Adventure packs that were not released in North America, as well as several extra action figure two packs, these have become highly collectible in Mint on Card form. The figures on these are distinguished from other two packs in that the figures contained are repaints from factory colours unlike the Argentina Re-paints which as just hand painted over the original casting colours.
Check out the lists below for information on each figure and vehicle.

Laser Command was a playset that used lasers to make one vehicle explode when shot at by another, only one example was know to be released, but its a very interesting concept that may have moved onto greater things if the toy line had continued. 1985-87 Rumoured and Prototypes

There are several items that went to prototype but never got made for one reason or another, Shark is the most noticeable. Rumor has it that Kenner didn't feel like a Women's vehicle would sell as well in the boys toys market, this was actually a general conception the toy manufactures had in the mid 80s, another example of this would be Hasbro with their Visionaries line and Galoob with their Galaxy Rangers line.
